3. How do you buy?

4. What is covered?

Material Damage: For a claim against fire, explosion, flooding, earthquake, Acts of God, riots and strike etc.
Burglary: If your goods are stolen at your premises.
Rent: For rent expenses for up to 10 days following a material damage claim.
Money: For money stolen at your premises or if you are robbed.
Last Expense: In the event of a death to help with the funeral expenses.

5. What are the policy limits?

Material Damage: We will pay up to TZS 5,000,000
Burglary: We will pay up to TZS 1,000,000
Rent: We will pay up to TZS 1,000,000
Money: We will pay up to TZS 250,000
Last Expense: We will pay up to TZS 1,000,000

6. What is the premium and how is the premium paid?

The annual premium is TZS 84,000, however you can pay TZS 7,000 monthly, TZS 21,000 quarterly or TZS 42,000 bi-annually or TZS 84,000 annually.

7. How long is the cover?

You are covered for the period in which you have paid the premium for. The annual premium is TZS 84,000, however you can pay TZS 7,000 for monthly premium, TZS 21,000 for quarterly premium and TZS 42,000 for bi-annual premium.

8. Can I get a bigger plan if my business is not small?

9. Can I withdraw from Hifadhi Biashara?

Yes, by stopping your premium payments you are automatically withdrawn and are off cover

10. How can I claim?

You can report a claim directly via the Duka Direct App, Tigopesa App or by dialing USSD code *150*01# and following the menu options. All eligble claims are to be settled in 72hrs/3 days.
